Thoose dervish teams are sucking fun out of pvp weekend for me. We had to stop yesterdays guild HA run cause there was only 2 options - dervish team or anti-dervish team. When we tried one we pwned zaishen in 9 seconds!!! Lol!

Yeah that build is pretty broken but it requires a full skilled team to pull it off. When they nerf it the casual gamer will be hurt much more overall while the elite gamer just figures out a new build.
And they think cutting down on farming helps the casuals.

They introduced new overpowered profession and it can't be played less than this level..mechanic of primary attribute of dervish is broken and over powered and most of dervish enchants orbing around this attribute..any try to nerf his useful enchants will make him impossible to play with.
I like this profession tbh but i know it was just PvP event with powerful professions to seduce us to buy Nightfall, then when they sell 2 million copy and top guilds abuse these 2 new professions in GvG, Anerf start to swing its nerf bat on both of them, and we go back to same endless stupid loop.

Your one of the fun ruiners. This build was overpowered and many people were saying "I hate you anet" in their name then playing it. I hope they all are slayed by balth.

This was after all a BETA TEST, just so they can see what needs to be changed and what works. You can be sure that they will analyse the data from this weekend, and make changes where it is needed.
Too bad the fame will be reset after the event is over.

To be honest, if you only got 45 fame a night "abusing" something you consider to be seriously "broken", you should uninstall. Now if it had been a couple hundred fame, it'd been different.

I remember that Rits were also considered overpowered during the PvP preview, now hardly anybody plays them.

Huh? Running a Rit has become standard in almost every HA group. The "cookie cutter" builds for the two most popular HA groups before this weekend - IWAY and Blood Spike - both used a Rit. Most balanced teams run a Rit.

I'd be ashame and think you're a fool if you don't take advantage of the new skills while everyone else is rather clueless about it. If you break it enough, anet will change this when Nightfall comes out.

for the people saying "eww... only 45 fame..." keep in mind i got home at about 12:45 PM my time and played till 3 AM, only about 2 hours worth of playtime. 2 hours and 45 fame and about 14k balth faction is alot for me considering i went from 22 fame to 65... and since the preview weekend started my Balth faction overall total has gone from 30k faction to 75k faction. the preview event for Factions was alot more fun, but this one is alot more profitable.

During the PvP preview event, you could have multiple copies of the same spirit in the same area, so they spammed the damaging spirits and basically killed everything. Theres videos of it floating around.
Most rits you see in PvP now are just ritual lords used for defensive purposes. Find me a ritualist build used for offense in pvp.

The very nature of rit skills pretty much screw them into a stationary type of play and being staitonary makes attacking kinda more like hey some idiot finaly came close enough....

What happens is Anet make overpowerd-ness, we all get excited, we buy Nightfall and they beat it with the nerf stick! Remember old temple strike?

Except the old temple strike wasnt even remotely overpowered and it was a energy pig for assassin primaries considering they had to use a lead off before it and needed to cover the conditions with twisting afterwards.

45 fame in 1 night is not much to boast about.
I did HA for 2 days and I'm rank 3. Its all about your team not the build.
